Wearing a fascinator is a chic, flamboyant and lightweight alternative to wearing a hat with the added bonus that your hair-do won't be flattened and need reviving after you take it off.

You might think that a hat would be more secure on your head, but the following tips will ensure that your fascinator will stay put until you decide otherwise.

Our fascinators are mounted on head bands, combs or clips. Depending on the style, they are usually worn to the side of the head.

Combs: Back comb the area where you intend to place your fascinator to allow the fascinator to grip your hair.

Push the comb slightly in the opposite direction before you slide it into place, this will ensure that more hairs are woven between the teeth of the comb, allowing extra grip.

Spray the area around the comb with hairspray, (avoiding the fascinator itself), to ensure that the comb and the hairs stick together and will prevent it from slipping.

If you're still nervous, use a few strategically placed curbi-grips for extra security.

Headbands: The bands we use are strong yet comfortable and easily hidden in your hair-do without extra help to stay in place (unless performing cartwheels after a little too much champers!).

Standard shipping of all of our items generally involves packaging using sturdy cardboard boxes. We recommend that customers ensure their fascinators remain boxed to keep them clean and prevent them from being crushed.

Allow to stand freely in a safe place overnight before wearing to allow feathers to settle.

Store in a dry environment, at room temperature and out of direct sunlight to help prevent it from becoming brittle or colours fading.

Although sometimes difficult (especially with the British weather) try to keep your fascinator dry. Feathers don't like getting wet!

Our preferred method of payment is via Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use Paypal, simply provide your payment card details securely online and the transaction can happen in moments. We can accept cheques and postal orders, but please be aware, these methods of payment will slow down the dispatch of your item and can only be accepted for UK orders.

For bespoke orders, once design, materials and accurate costs have been agreed, we will send you an invoice (electronic or paper) which should be paid before we start to create your order. In circumstances where only an approximate costing can be given, payment should be made prior to despatch.

Should we not be able to fulfill your order for any unexpected reason after payment has taken place, we will re-imburse you in full as soon as possible.

Due to hygeine reasons we cannot accept returns of fascinators. We do offer a sample and detailed design consultation service to ensure you are as happy as possible before actual receipt of your bespoke item. If your item has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately in order that we may process your replacement or refund as soon as possible.

Whilst we have made every effort to ensure that the colours of the items shown on our website are represented accurately, these colours may display differently depending on customer hardware, settings and software.

Please be aware that visual discrepancies can occur. Availability and manufacturing issues may result if the use of materials slightly different to those shown on this website.

We will endeavour to make your item as close as possible to the one shown and as our items are handmade, no two items will be exactly the same.

The reference to Gold and Silver is to the colour of the materials used only, unless stated otherwise.

We are happy to repair fascinators made by us for a small cost (depending in repair required) should they become damaged through use. Please contact us for details.

We aim to dispatch all orders of stock items from our online Gallery within 3 working days from receipt of cleared payment. We aim to despatch bespoke items 3-5 working days from receipt of payment, although it may take a little longer if we need to source components to tailor make your item. If you need your item sooner, we'll do our best to get it to you for when you require it. We request at least one weeks notice for bespoke items where possible.

All of our items are well packaged. Standard UK deliveries are sent 1st Class Recorded Delivery (signature required upon delivery), UK deliveries of hats are sent by Courier (3-5 working days, signature required), and overseas deliveries are sent by Royal International Signed For service. Postage within the UK by Royal Mail should only take 1-2 working days, however we cannot guarantee this. Tracking references can be provided to customers upon request. Overseas custom is welcomed and the appropriate shipping selection should be made at checkout. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping for hats is quoted online for UK deliveries only at this time. Should an overseas delivery of a hats be required, please enquire for shipping costs before purchase.

A postal discount for multiple purchases may be available if items can be packaged together, with full price being paid for postage of each item upon order and refund will be made when discount calculated.

We cannot take responsibility for industrial action taken by Royal Mail or any other unforeseeable circumstance resulting in a delay in the delivery if your item. Will can use an alternative postal service if your delivery is urgent and may be impacted by such circumstances at an extra cost.
